Do not oppose the data-driven management of training institutions and their survival.

Many small and micro training institutions may not be able to do it well, but they feel that it is risky and costly to make it bigger.

Three reasons:

The workshop style management thinking is deeply rooted

Lacking forward-looking thinking and continuous standardization of data-driven management. A team of 30 people, compared to a team of 300 or 1000 people, faces different problems, bears different responsibilities and pressures, and requires different knowledge. Overall, their cognition is different;

Treating income as assets and inputs as expenses, strongly rejecting input-output operational behavior

Believing that reducing expenses is a cost reduction, and even believing that cost reduction will definitely increase efficiency, ignoring the objective analysis of data-driven management. Not treating people, technology, and data-driven management as the most valuable assets of training institutions;

Taking the renewal peak period of waiting for the rainy weather for several months in a year and the revenue introduced by students as a natural part of campus operation and development,

And believing that it can continue smoothly and steadily for a long time, without taking online and offline market competition for customer revenue as a necessary foundation and prerequisite for healthy business development.

In fact, this is a typical thinking that puts the data-driven management of training institutions in opposition to their survival.

In the operation of training institutions, data-driven management not only manages the familiar sets of data, such as valid orders, invalid orders, visit volume, contract volume, signing conversion rate, input and output, total conversion, course consumption, etc., but the vast majority of training institutions ignore the data-driven presentation of specific work behaviors for each position.

Data management does not mean providing training institutions with a system or purchasing a set of software

But through data-driven management, standardize and unitize various tasks on the business chain, return to basic work, further streamline all work links within each campus, and achieve the goal of cost reduction and efficiency improvement;

The data that training institutions need to analyze is far more than just class hours and money

The key to data-driven management lies in the high integration of management ideas and business behavior data information, making work behavior clearer and easier to manage, while also assisting in efficient and accurate management analysis;

The development scale and revenue capacity of training institutions are directly linked to their level of data-driven management

Data management actually includes the management logic of all business behaviors and the embodiment of digital processes and results, which is the specific manifestation of the overall strategy of the institution and directly affects the various revenues of the institution;

The data-driven management of various tasks in training institutions is a continuous iterative process

Just like climbing a mountain, there is no need to climb to the top in one breath. It is important to persevere slowly and steadily, gradually implementing it along the entire business chain by stage, department, and module.

Training institutions lacking data-driven management will always focus their work and management priorities solely on:

  • 1. Event: blindly increasing workload;
  • 2. People: Focusing solely on positivity, in order to solve problems, will continuously increase workload and work content, and thus increase management difficulty and workload. This is a vicious cycle and patching.

Taking teaching service work as an example:

Improving teaching quality is something that almost all training institutions talk about. In fact, teaching quality is not maintained by grinding lessons, supervision inspections, spot checks, parental satisfaction feedback, or teaching management. Teaching quality is designed.

If the curriculum product is designed without fully considering the minimum level of teaching delivery process and results, the problem will continue to circulate.

Teaching and research work requires predicting all possible factors that may affect quality at the beginning of product and service design, designing teaching behaviors for each knowledge content one by one, and increasing the inevitability, continuity, and traces of pre - and post behavior. Only in this way can we reduce the potential problems that may affect teaching and service quality in subsequent practical work. This is the manifestation of data-driven management in teaching work.

The data-driven management mindset is the basis for all operational work of various departments and positions in the education and training industry training institutions. It is the key to breaking away from emotional management and implementing it to solve specific behaviors.

Institutions that want to turn their performance around first start with marketing and sales, so ultimately they need to return to data-driven management, build front-end data architecture, design specific work behaviors for each position, standardize the quantity of each link and behavior, and meet the needs of achieving work goals.
