Many principals of small educational and training institutions sigh that enrollment is too difficult now. Large institutions have brands and capital, and it is much easier than us to promote online or offline.

This is indeed true, but it is not a reason for us to give up our efforts, let alone an excuse for us not being able to find a job.

Because when parents choose an institution, brand is only one factor, not everything. Sometimes, even if we are small in scale, as long as we 'look like a regular army', we can win the trust of our parents.

What is' packaging '? Many people's first reaction is to falsify information, which is a misconception.

Packaging is not about exaggerating or creating something out of nothing, but about showcasing our best side, so that parents can more intuitively feel our professionalism and dedication.

For example:

Two institutions have similar faculty and academic performance. A institution only made verbal promises, while B institution made exquisite posters of each teacher's graduation institution, teaching achievements, and award certificates, and posted them on the walls of the campus.

Which do you think parents would be more inclined towards?

You see, this is the power of packaging. It won't change our essence, but it can change parents' perception of us.

What aspects should small institutions package themselves from? I will share with you several low-cost and effective methods:

1. Specialized image packaging

Visual system: Design a simple and atmospheric logo and apply it to various corners such as brochures, posters, business cards, workwear, etc. A unified visual image will make parents feel that we are more formal. (Note: The clothing of teachers in art training institutions can be personalized)

Environmental layout: The campus does not necessarily need to be too luxurious, but it must be clean, tidy, and orderly. Students' excellent works, teachers' award certificates, and exciting moments of activities can be displayed on the wall, all of which are silent "letters of trust".

Material design: Whether it's an enrollment brochure or a parent notification letter, please abandon Word art fonts and colorful layouts. Designed to be refreshing and professional, it doesn't cost much, but the effect is vastly different.

2. Core character IP packaging

For small institutions, principals are the best spokespersons.

Principal IP: Packaging principals (or teaching supervisors) as "education experts". We encourage principals to continue to share their educational ideas, teaching observations and school running experiences on WeChat friend circles, video accounts, official account and other platforms.

Content specialization: Don't just know how to advertise. Share more practical knowledge, such as "How to help a child who is tired of learning regain confidence" and "The three key stages of cultivating primary school math calculation ability". Make parents feel that you are not only in business, but also in education.

3. Reflecting professionalism through the academic system

Say goodbye to paper records and record all home school data, home school communication, and children's growth and changes online, so that parents can see these contents at any time.

For parents, transparent communication can make them trust the campus more.

4. Visual packaging of teaching achievements

You said your teaching effect is good, but your words are unfounded. You need to provide evidence.

Student Growth Profile: Establish electronic or paper growth profiles for each student, recording their initial level and current progress upon arrival. After obtaining parental consent, it can be presented as a case study.

Storytelling of successful cases: Compile small stories of students who have significantly improved their scores and made great progress. Li, a student from XX school, only scored 70 in math when he first arrived. After a semester of targeted tutoring, he scored 95 in the final exam this time... "The story is more touching than the data.

Honor Wall and Banner: The awards received by students and the banners sent by parents are the most direct reflection of our teaching achievements. Place them in the most prominent position.

Some principals may say, 'We are small in scale and don't have that much budget to do these things.'.

Please understand that packaging does not mean burning money. The core of most of the methods mentioned above lies in the heart, not the money.

For example, does it cost a lot of money to organize teacher profiles, manage friends' circles with care, clean up the campus, and record students' growth? No need. But they require you to put in effort.

In this era, parents often choose not how strong you are, but how dedicated you are. Your intentions are visible to parents.

Finally, I would like to emphasize one point:

Packaging is the 'art', while teaching quality and after-school services are the 'way'.

All packaging must be built on a solid foundation of teaching and attentive service. Otherwise, it would be a castle in the air, easily shattered with a single poke.

What we need to do is to cultivate both internally and externally. Internally, focus on teaching and provide excellent services; Externally, moderate packaging, professional presentation.

Only in this way can we stand out in the fierce market competition.

I hope every small organization's founder can learn to package themselves and go further.
